Original Author's Description: Reporter Moira Harrisons is lost. In the dark. In a thunderstorm. When a confusing detour places her on a rural, wooded road, she's startled by the sudden appearance of a lone figure caught in the beam of her headlights. Though Moira jams on her brakes, the car careens across the wet pavement--and the solid thump against the side of the vehicle tells her she hit the person before she crashes into a tree on the far side of the road.
A dazed Moira is relieved when a man opens her door, tells her he saw everything, and promises to call 911. Then everything fades to black. When she comes to an hour later, she is alone. No man. No 911. No injured person lying on the side of the road. But she can't forget the look of terror she saw on the person's face in the instant before her headlights swung away. The person she hit had been in trouble. She's sure of it. But she can't get anyone to believe her story--except a handsome former police detective, now a private eye, who agrees to take on the case.
Sandy's Review: As you know, I read a lot of Fan Fiction and I must be honest and tell you that when I first started reading this book I was SURE it was and Edward and Bella original. But it's NOT!! This is an original fiction that is worth your time.
I don't know about you, but I like a little suspense. This book has it! I enjoyed it from cover to cover!! If you are looking for a little suspenseful romance I am thinking this could be your book. You won't find any hard core lemons, but you will find intrigue and a mystery that gets bigger as the story goes on. I really enjoyed this and and I suggest you add it to you TBR list.
Here is where you can get it: Amazon.com
SANDY WE HAVEN'T HEARD FROM YOU IN A LONG TIME...HAVE YOU READ ANYTHING ELSE GOOD???
As a matter of fact I have. I have read the complete collection of Black Dagger Brotherhood books!!!
These books are FANTASTIC!! They are full of lots of luscious lemons and I can't say enough good things about them. When you first start reading them, you read a glossary of terms. This turns a lot of people off. Don't let it...just read the terms, the author will use them in the book. She adds terms but doesn't really add many each book. It's a fun feature.
You can find the first book here: Amazon.com
WHAT ABOUT FAN FICTION SANDY??? HAVE YOU READ ANY GOOD FIC LATELY???
Well, yes I have!
My good friend Beegurl113 wrote a story a long time ago that I never read (yeah, I couldn't believe it either)
Author's Original Description: Two consenting adults. One wants more. What happens when the other doesn't, and never will? Is there such thing as true love in the real world? And will they see what's coming before it's too late? E/B, AH, M.
I really really enjoyed this story! Beegurl is very talented. I have been going back and reading stories that have completed and this one is really worth the read. Fantastic!!
You can find it here: Constant Bearing Decreasing Range
Ok, well, If you are still with me, please send me a comment below. Thank you for taking the time to read!!
I can't remember the sign in for my beegurl13 google account, so this is from ME, but... Awwww, thank you! :) I'm so glad you liked Constant Bearing, Decreasing Range. I love that story. It's very close to my heart, what with it basically being the song "Brandy" in fanfic form. :D You're always so good to me. <3
ReplyDeletebeegurl13 :)
Congrats for reading the BDB series! I can't praise the Brothers high enough and I read the series about 5 times by now.
ReplyDeleteI added Vanished to my wishlist on amazon.
And you're sooo right! Beegurl13 is one fantastic and talented writer! I loved Constand Bearing, Decreasing Range so much and will definitely re-read it some time.
I love BDB! Have you read her Fallen Angels series Sandy? They're equally as good & a few of the boys from BDB even make a cameo. I would love to see the series on HBO! (Jason Mamoa as Wrath xxx)
